With the Handlebar Breakout Cable, the connections are made inside the handlebar instead: push each device's leads into the 16-port housing, slide it into the bar, and bring a single cable out through a small hole near the bar clamps.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNine ports carry individual circuits and the remaining seven are commoned to a shared ground wire. To open a port, insert a small flat-blade screwdriver (0.4 x 2.0 mm) into the release slot beside it. The tool holds the spring open on its own, so you can leave it in place and use both hands to guide the wire in. Push the stripped wire (6 mm strip length) fully home, withdraw the screwdriver, and give the wire a gentle tug to confirm it's held.
