The 070 Multilock series from TE connectivity is a highly reliable, high-density, unsealed wire-to-wire connector system designed primarily for the automotive industry.
An absolute staple of the motorcycle industry from the mid-1990s onward. Widely used by the Japanese "big Four" brands, Harley Davidson, Ducati and Triumph.
We opt for these over sealed connectors such as the AMP Superseal as they don't require specific crimping tools to crimp the terminal over the cable seal and are significantly smaller (33% smaller when compared to the Superseal). If you are concerned about water ingress, simply pack them with some dielectric silicone grease.
Renowned for its space-saving design and rugged physical retention, they feature an integrated two-piece secondary double-lock plate. This mechanism guarantees that the crimped terminals are fully inserted into the housing, completely preventing terminals from backing out due to vibration.
Available in 2, and 3-pin configurations.
We supply each configuration with double the required number of male and female terminals, in case you make a mistake or need to make some changes down the track.
Note: these are only compatible with the mo.unit input cables supplied with the motogadget mo.unit wiring kit as the conductor cross-section and insulation diameter of their output cables is too large. You must use our MMCC thinwall cable kit, or source your own cables.
Compatible Cable Specifications:
Conductor Size: 0.5mm² to 1.25mm² standard cable, however these will crimp onto our 2mm² thinwall cable.

Maximum Insulation OD: 2.6mm
Maximum Current: 14 Amps continuous per terminal connection.
