mo.can OBD Digital Adapter for for Harley-Davidson

PRE-ORDER NOW, DISPATCHES IN 2 TO 4 WEEKS.

The mo.can OBD is a digital adapter for easy connection of motogadget instruments directly to the diagnostic interface of Harley-Davidson™ vehicles built from 2004 onwards. Plug & Drive, it couldn't be easier.

A tiny box makes the installation of sensors for speed or rpm superfluous. Every Harley-Davidson™ vehicle built after 2004* has this interface as a 4-pin connector on the vehicle. With the help of the mo.can OBD digital adapter, which is simply plugged into this connector, motogadget instruments can read the speed, RPM and MIL (engine warning light) directly from the vehicle data bus.

A power supply via the OBD interface is also possible. This makes it possible, for example, to operate a motoscope mini without any further connection work on the motorcycle. The instrument is simply connected to the mo.can OBD. This solves all compatibility problems between instruments and original speed sensors, especially on Harley-Davidson™ models from 2007 onwards. The signal for the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) for error messages on the engine and peripherals is also read out and can be displayed when an LED/warning lamp is connected. This makes it possible to completely remove the original instruments**.

The mo.can OBD consists only of a tiny, fully encapsulated box, a 4-pin OBD plug and a sufficiently long connection cable. It is resistant to vibrations and weather influences. Its function is guaranteed down to below 5V on-board voltage and therefore complies with all SAE specifications for motorcycles.

* Can NOT be used on Harley-Davidson™ Softail™ from model year 2011, Dyna™ from model year 2012, Sportster™ XL from model year 2014 and all other models with HD-LAN. Only for vehicles with SAE J1850 bus system.

** On certain models such as V-Rod™, removing the original speedometer can lead to problems with the ECU / immobilizer. Please ask your trusted dealer about this or test this before a conversion, e.g. by disconnecting the original speedometer. It may be necessary to deactivate the immobilizer.
